HAWORTH CHARETTE COMPETITION

3rd Place Winner

A design competition in which upper class students were invited to compete in a one-day charette in which students were given the design problem in the morning and judged by a panel of leading architectural professionals later that afternoon, culminating in the awarding of prizes to the three winning teams.

My team of three responded to the challenge of housing for the homeless by utilizing pre-existing "car parking lift structures" commonly found in urban areas to create a dual space for parking during the day and private shelter by night.
